Job Title: Remote E-Commerce Product Manager (100% Work From Home) 

 
Location: Remote from Latin America
 
Position Type: Full Time
  
Salary: $3,000 – $4,000 USD/month (Determined based on e-commerce catalog management experience and technical systems depth).
  
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week. Requires consistent operational overlap with US Mountain Time (MT). Critical Shift Pattern: Because global product drops originate overnight from Asia, this role strictly requires availability on Sunday through Thursday evenings (Mountain Time) to capture real-time international announcements and execute immediate preorder launches. Schedules are flexible during off-peak volume periods, but unwavering reliability during launch windows is essential.

Characterized by rapid weekly product launches, highly competitive limited-edition releases, and immediate pricing adjustments, they run a demanding, hyper-organized e-commerce engine optimizing for speed and market dominance.
 
The Role
 
Our Client is seeking an analytical, process-driven E-commerce Product Manager to take end-to-end strategic and operational ownership of their multi-channel product catalogs. Please note: This is not a task-executing Virtual Assistant position. Our client has outgrown basic administrative execution; they are hiring a system-builder who has previously owned Shopify storefronts and coordinated cross-functional product rollouts. The successful candidate will own the entire operational lifecycle of every asset—orchestrating international preorders, managing platform synchronization, standardizing data processes, and serving as the operational connective tissue across the warehouse, marketing, design, customer support, and administrative virtual assistant squads.
 
Key Responsibilities
 

Shopify Architecture & Multi-Channel Catalog Governance

 

  • Engineers, optimizes, and scales comprehensive Shopify product pages, ensuring high-quality copy, accurate localized data mapping, and precise variant taxonomy.

  • Configures and updates front-end digital real estate including homepages, localized collections matrices, navigations, custom landing pages, and ongoing visual merchandising setups.

  • Controls the digital catalog infrastructure, performing massive, complex multi-variant bulk asset alterations via advanced CSV manipulations.

  • Orchestrates backend app integrations, monitors Shopify theme custom code behaviors, and audits product environments for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

 

Global Launch Orchestration & TikTok Shop Alignment

 

  • Monitors international brand releases to immediately build out, structure, and deploy high-volume preorder listings across Shopify and TikTok Shop.

  • Transitions product statuses meticulously from "Preorder" to "In-Stock" configurations as logistics clear warehouse checkpoints.

  • Populates and protects live, centralized release calendars and cross-functional operational checksheets to guarantee time-sensitive drops execute flawlessly.

  • Owns the TikTok Shop ecosystem natively: publishing optimized assets, maintaining extreme catalog quality metrics, synchronizing pricing matrices, troubleshooting platform indexing errors, and ensuring absolute compliance against algorithmic safety parameters.

 

Cross-Functional Operations & System Modernization

 

  • Serves as the central operational router coordinating project dependencies across internal warehouses, brick-and-mortar storefronts, marketing arms, creative design teams, and outsourced virtual assistants.

  • Translates chaotic e-commerce behaviors into pristine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documenting automated routines and pricing validation steps.

  • Drives ongoing process improvements, leveraging advanced generative AI utilities (ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate copy variations, meta-tagging, and listing optimizations.

  • Conducts systemic inventory spot audits across physical and digital warehouses, investigating variances and building tighter cross-channel stock controls.

(Note: Direct vendor communications, raw purchasing decisions, and macro supply forecasting will remain within the purview of the founder for this lifecycle stage.)

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies
 
Required Qualifications
 

  • E-commerce Tenure: 5+ years of verified professional experience directing operations, catalog structures, or product lifecycles within high-concurrency B2C e-commerce firms.

  • Advanced Shopify Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience navigating Shopify's administrative ecosystem, including app architectures, theme layouts, and bulk import/export CSV data modeling.

  • Large-Scale Catalog Experience: Proven history managing large, fast-moving inventories consisting of thousands of multi-variant, limited-edition SKUs or collectibles.

  • Project Management Depth: Highly organized mindset with a demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-department workflows independently under tight constraints (experience using Asana or comparable enterprise tools is highly valued).

  • AI Tool Integration: Complete comfort using generative AI systems (Claude/ChatGPT) as a core daily instrument to maximize operational copywriting and administrative analysis speed.

  • Language Precision: Absolute fluency in written and verbal English, characterized by strong technical copywriting habits and process-documentation habits.

  • Workplace Infrastructure: Ownership of a quiet, private remote workstation, a modern computing setup optimized for heavy browser-tab multitasking, and a highly secure, high-speed internet pipeline.

 
Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Direct, hands-on experience listing assets, navigating seller centers, and resolving errors within TikTok Shop environments.

  • Basic familiarity with front-end Shopify theme customization parameters, Product SEO logic, and data structures of inventory management software.

  • Prior product experience managing collectibles, hobby retail assets, music media, trading cards, or subculture lifestyle goods.
