EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 2 years of industrial maintenance or general maintenance mechanic work experience, a documented application or a resume is required

JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY: Lead Maintenance Generalist - Full Time - Amherst, OH 44001
Current Pay Range: $26.40 - $36.85 (Pay commensurate with experience)
As a Lead Maintenance Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of our facility and influence company performance by maintaining our

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include, but are not limited to the following)
- This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated effectively to the team members and efficiently.
- Provide maintenance support with minimal supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and the team.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Able to work well without direct supervision and build a strong team
- Utilize leadership skills to train and grow new technicians
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
- Frequent overhead work.
FOR ALL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)
- Must be willing and able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
- Must be willing and able to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
- Must be willing and able to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
- Must be willing and able to perform repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be willing and able to withstand temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
