Senior Financial Analyst, Assurant, GCC-India

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with great problem-solving skills to join our Finance team.  The Senior Financial Analyst role will support the Domestic Auto business by providing monthly/quarterly financial reporting and analysis.  Ad hoc requests are common and interaction with multiple departments will be required.

This position will be in Bengaluru, Chennai & Hyderabad at our India location.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Monthly research and variance reporting
• Quarterly flux analysis on both income statement and balance sheet
• Review of monthly system feeds for accuracy and trend analysis
• Providing client level reporting as needed
• Reviewing monthly manual journal entries for accuracy
• Ad hoc audit requests
• Compliance with Sox control

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields
• 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent knowledge in Power BI
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be a self-starter able to work independently
• Willingness to go above and beyond to do the best possible job
