Role Summary :
The ERP Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of OnePort 365's in-house ERP platform (Longitude) by ensuring timely, accurate, and complete data entry across operational and commercial transactions. The role will maintain data integrity within the system, support users with basic ERP-related issues, and ensure operational records are updated in accordance with company procedures.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong computer skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in logistics technology and operations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
ERP Administration
- Perform daily data entry and updates on the Longitude ERP platform.
- Create, update, and maintain shipment, customer, vendor, and operational records.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of data entered into the ERP system.
- Monitor system records to ensure consistency and data integrity.
- Support users with basic ERP navigation and system-related inquiries.
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate internal team when necessary.
Data Management
- Enter operational, commercial, and financial information into the ERP system accurately and promptly.
- Review data for errors and correct discrepancies before processing.
- Maintain electronic records and documentation in line with company standards.
- Generate basic reports from the ERP system when required.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Update shipment milestones and operational activities within the ERP.
- Support documentation and record-keeping for freight forwarding activities.
- Assist with periodic data validation and system clean-up exercises.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Follow established ERP processes and standard operating procedures.
- Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Participate in ERP training sessions and continuous learning initiatives.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data entry, administration, ERP support, or operations.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and computer-based business applications.
- Previous exposure to ERP systems is an added advantage but not required.
