Deputy Project Manager (Oracle EBS Financials expertise)

We are seeking a Deputy Project Manager, with Oracle EBS Financials Functional/Technical experience for an Oracle EBS Operations and Maintenance Support contract at a Federal agency. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise across Oracle EBS financial modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payments, FedAdmin).

You will be responsible for:

• Providing Oracle functional/technical subject matter expertise to support the Project Manager and client in analysis and design of Oracle EBS COTS and Custom solutions, interface development, and reporting initiatives.
• Managing application teams, and providing Oracle functional/technical subject matter expertise to maintain and improve development and testing processes.
• Serve as a functional/technical QA reviewer, reviewing EBS configuration changes, interface designs, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and audit teams to ensure EBS environments are compliant with security and data protection requirements.
• Managing and supporting Risk Management, Change Management, and Change Control efforts.
• Working with Project Manager to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and report on SLA compliance to the client.
• Supporting proactive release planning in an Agile/Hybrid agile environment with monthly deployments.
• Managing and supporting instance planning of Non Production instances for cloning/refreshes and SDLC/operational activities.
• Working with Project Manager and collaborating with implementation teams to support the client’s consolidation and modernization efforts

 

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship (required for systems access) and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Federal Financials/EBS functional-technical SME roles and Oracle EBS R12.2.x support (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payments, FedAdmin) with heavy customization.
• 5+ years of experience managing/leading Oracle EBS Financials projects.
• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules, integrations, customizations, environments, and upgrade dependencies.
• Experience with relevant Oracle developer tools (Oracle Forms/Reports/OAFs, Oracle APEX, Oracle JDeveloper) and programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL)
• Experience with Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x upgrades.
• Knowledge of data archiving tools and archiving Oracle data
• Understanding of Federal Accounting concepts.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Accounting, Audit, or Security experience
• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud/Fusion Financials
• Direct experience with Financial Management System consolidation, and consolidation of disparate OFF systems.
• Direct experience with conversion of Oracle EBS functionality to Oracle Fusion.
