About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Line Service Technician / Supervisor to join our team at Tupelo Aviation, the FBO at Tupelo Regional Airport. Reporting directly to the FBO Manager, you will be the face of our operations on the tarmac, responsible for the safe and efficient marshalling, fueling, and towing of aircraft.

Comprehensive training will be provided on-site at our Tupelo facility to ensure you are fully equipped to meet our operational standards.

Please note: Aviation is an around-the-clock industry. Candidates must have the flexibility to work all days and all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely marshal, tow, and fuel various types of aircraft on the ramp.

• Receive inbound fuel loads and ensure mobile refueler trucks are consistently refilled.

• Conduct meticulous daily fuel quality checks on all refuelers and fuel farm equipment.

• Provide exceptional customer service, including processing payments, answering facility telephones, and responding to aircraft radio calls.

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the FBO facility and out on the ramp.

• Assist with other operational and facility responsibilities as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability: Must be able to work a highly flexible schedule, including all days and shifts as required by flight schedules.

• Physicality: Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and confidently climb ladders in various weather conditions.

• Safety & Compliance: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening as well as ongoing random drug screenings.

• Credentials: Must possess a valid state Driver's License accompanied by a clean, safe driving record.

• Preferred Skills (Not Required): A strong mechanical aptitude is highly desired. Holding a Pilot's License is a plus!

Compensation

• Starting Pay: $13.50 per hour.

• Post-Training: Pay increases to $14.50 per hour upon the successful completion of your training program.
