Essential Responsibilities:
ATC embraces flexibility in our work and our workplace. We trust our employees to get work done where and when it makes sense, depending on the schedule for the day and the needs of the business. However, this role is not available for 100% remote work and would require relocation to either Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
What You'll Do
Design and Build Modern Data Solutions
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Design and support enterprise data platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making.
• Create reliable and efficient ETL/ELT processes using modern cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Develop data models and architectures that support business intelligence and enterprise reporting.
Drive Data Quality and Reliability
• Ensure the accuracy, performance, security, and maintainability of enterprise data solutions.
• Support data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives.
• Implement monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement practices that increase trust in enterprise data assets.
Partner Across the Organization
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, developers, and IT teams.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and actionable data capabilities.
• Communicate complex technical concepts in ways that support business outcomes and informed decision-making.
Advance Innovation
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and development approaches.
• Help modernize data platforms and improve operational efficiency through automation and innovation.
• Contribute to ATC’s evolving cloud and analytics strategy.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Five or more years of experience designing, developing, and supporting production data pipelines.
• Experience building data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Python Notebook, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong Python and PySpark development experience.
• Experience integrating systems through REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies including SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, or similar source control and DevOps platforms.
• Experience supporting data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with data warehouses, data marts, lakehouses, or modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with data observability, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of enterprise data architecture and master data management.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or comparable analytics platforms.
• Experience working in utility, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.

The targeted base pay for this position is $128,400 to $149,800 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.
