- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy concerns, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
