Role Summary
Degryse anticipates hiring a Project Manager / Estimator to support commercial electrical projects from estimating through execution. The position is expected to function initially as a junior PM working under senior leadership while combining estimating and project-management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates for commercial electrical opportunities.
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
- Develop labor and material takeoffs.
- Support pricing and proposal preparation.
- Assist with project planning after award.
- Coordinate field requirements with Foremen and project leadership.
- Track project budgets, materials, schedules, and scope changes.
- Support change-order pricing and documentation.
- Communicate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Assist with project closeout and documentation.
- Maintain organized project records and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial electrical construction experience.
- Electrical estimating and/or project-management experience.
- Ability to read electrical plans and specifications.
- Understanding of commercial electrical materials and installation methods.
- Strong organization and communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Combined PM/Estimator experience.
- Experience with smaller commercial/TI projects.
- Field electrical background.
- Experience with medical, office, retail, restaurant, or similar commercial work.
- Experience working for a smaller commercial electrical contractor.

- Estimates are complete, timely, and commercially sound.
- Projects transition smoothly from estimating into field execution.
