Associate Manager, HR People Strategy

North America Supply Chain & Procurement

The Associate Manager, HR People Strategy plays a key role in advancing talent and organizational priorities across North America Supply Chain and Procurement. Reporting to the Associate Director, People Strategy & Labor Relations, this position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders to execute initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, accelerate talent development, and support business performance.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, data-driven HR professional who enjoys turning strategy into action. The Associate Manager will support talent planning, succession management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness initiatives, and workforce insights while helping ensure successful execution of key people priorities across the function.

Talent Strategy & Talent Management

  • Support the execution of talent strategies that align with business priorities and workforce objectives.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to support talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing initiatives.

  • Help identify critical talent gaps and risks and support action planning to strengthen organizational capability.

  • Assist in the development and execution of programs designed to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Organizational Effectiveness & Workforce Planning

  • Support organizational effectiveness initiatives that improve team performance, leadership capability, and overall organizational health.

  • Contribute to workforce planning efforts by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing talent and organizational data.

  • Assist with organizational assessments, capability reviews, and other strategic people initiatives.

  • Track key initiatives and help ensure execution against established goals, timelines, and deliverables.

People Analytics & Business Insights

  • Leverage workforce and talent data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to retention, engagement, performance, mobility, and workforce effectiveness.

  • Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, reports, and briefing materials that support informed decision-making.

  • Translate complex information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for HR and business leaders.

  • Support ongoing reporting and monitoring of talent and workforce priorities.

Program & Project Management

  • Coordinate and support the execution of priority people initiatives, ensuring strong planning, communication, and follow-through.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, University Relations, and other Centers of Excellence to activate enterprise programs within Supply Chain and Procurement.

  • Facilitate project management activities including milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, and status reporting.

  • Support the continuous improvement of talent processes and people programs through feedback, analysis, and best-practice sharing.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build strong working relationships across HR and Supply Chain & Procurement leadership teams.

  • Serve as a trusted partner in supporting talent-related discussions and people processes.

  • Collaborate effectively across a matrixed environment to drive alignment and successful execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with exposure to talent management, succession planning, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, or related areas.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects, programs, or business initiatives with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

  • Experience creating executive summaries, presentations, and business insights for leadership audiences.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging data to make recommendations and drive action.

  • Experience with Workday, Power BI, Tableau, or similar workforce analytics platforms preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how people strategies support business outcomes.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and matrixed environment

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$89,800.00 - $112,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
