Tin Roost in North Liberty, IA is looking for a FOH Shift Lead to join our team!

This role is a great fit for an experienced server or bartender who is ready for more responsibility and wants to grow into restaurant leadership. You’ll help lead the floor during service, support the FOH team, take care of our Guests, and step into serving or bartending shifts when needed.

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, communicates well, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever the team needs help.

Pay

$20–$23 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

• Part-time, approximately 20 - 30 hours per week
• Evening and weekend availability is required
• Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Typically 3 - 4 leadership shifts per week
• Additional serving and/or bartending shifts may be scheduled based on restaurant needs
• Must be willing to cross-train as a server and/or bartender

What You’ll Do

• Help lead the FOH team and keep shifts running smoothly
• Set the team up for service and lead pre-shift meetings
• Support and coach servers, bartenders, hosts, and other FOH team members
• Stay active on the floor and step into different positions when needed
• Provide friendly, attentive service and help create a great Guest experience
• Handle Guest questions or concerns professionally
• Help maintain service standards during busy shifts
• Communicate with restaurant leadership about staffing, equipment, or facility needs
• Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for service
• Help cover call-ins or stay later when needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of restaurant experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
• Leadership experience is a plus, but we’re also open to someone ready to take that next step
• Strong communication and people skills
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable making decisions during a busy shift
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help the team
• ServSafe certified or willing to become certified
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
