Lead Culturally Specific Qualified Mental Health Professional-Registrant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the Adelante Mujeres Clinica Esperanza team, the Lead Culturally Specific Qualified Mental Health Professional-Registrant (QMHP-R) is instrumental in providing culturally specific direct mental health services and clinical leadership within a clinical team to support participant well-being, quality care, and effective service delivery. The Lead QMHP-R models culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices. The Lead QMHP-R reports to the Clinica Esperanza Director.

CLINICAL LEADERSHIP (20%-time allocation)

• Serves as a clinical resource by providing consultation, mentoring and support to QMHPs.
• Assists in monitoring clinical quality, documentation compliance, and adherence to regulatory and program requirements.
• Supports quality improvement efforts by assisting with implementation of clinical resources, evidence-based practices, and workflow enhancements.

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (80%-time allocation)

• Provides culturally specific individual and family therapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Completes comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develops and updates individualized treatment plans in collaboration with participants.
• Develops, implements, monitors, and updates individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives in collaboration with participants.
• Supports clinical quality, documentation compliance, care coordination, and continuous improvement of clinical services.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• A passionate commitment to the goals and mission of Adelante Mujeres including support for education, social justice, the environment, immigrant & BIPOC communities.
• Graduate degree in psychology, social work, a behavioral science field, or a similar subject.
• At least two years of related experience providing direct mental health services in a culturally specific setting.
• Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding English and Spanish
• Certificates, Licenses, and/ Or Registrations
  • Must have or be able to obtain pre-licensed status such a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) OR Professional counselor associate, OR marriage and family therapist associate OR be licensed in the state of Oregon and have active status within their licensing board.
• Must meet state guidelines for QMHP-R

Preferred:

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a minimum of 18 billable hours per week while staying current on clinical documentation.
• Experience providing peer consultation, mentoring, or onboarding clinicians.
• Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives, clinical workflow development, or implementation of clinical best practices.

 

Additional Requirements:

• Enroll in Oregon's' Central Background Registry (CBR) and the Oregon Criminal history & Abuse Records Data System (ORCHARDS).
• Reliable transportation to arrive at different worksites.
• Ability to travel out of town to attend workshops or trainings.

 

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• Salary range: $68K-$72K depending on qualifications.
• Classification: Full-Time, Salaried
• Telework: up to 1 day a week depending on the department's needs.
• Benefits: health, vision, dental, short-term and long-term disability, 401K pension plan, life insurance, EAP, professional development opportunities, paid leave of absence, paid holidays (12.5 days annually), sick days (up to 9 days annually), vacation per year (up to 20 days years one through five, up to 25 days after five years), office closure between Christmas and New Years , and sabbatical (1 month at 10 years of employment).
