Role Summary

Steel Point Solutions is seeking experienced Navy Facilities Engineering / Installation Management professionals to support federal government clients in the planning, management, and execution of Navy shore installation and infrastructure programs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting or working within Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), or the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations & Environment (ASN (EI&E)). Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Navy installation management, facilities engineering, infrastructure, real property, and public works operations.

This position will support government stakeholders with analysis, planning, program management, and technical expertise related to Navy facilities and shore infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Navy facilities engineering and installation management.

• Support programs and initiatives involving CNIC, NAVFAC, and/or ASN (EI&E) organizations.

• Assist with installation planning, infrastructure development, and facility management activities.

• Support shore installation management and public works programs.

• Conduct analysis related to facilities, infrastructure, assets, and real property.

• Support real property management, including facility inventories, asset management, and infrastructure planning.

• Assist government stakeholders with developing, reviewing, and implementing facilities and installation management strategies.

• Evaluate current infrastructure and facility requirements and identify potential improvements.

• Support program planning, documentation, reporting, and briefings for government leadership.

• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, and technical stakeholders across multiple organizations.

• Apply knowledge of Navy policies, processes, standards, and procedures to support mission requirements.

• Provide recommendations and technical input related to installation support, facilities, infrastructure, and asset management.

Required Qualifications

• Prior professional experience supporting the U.S. Navy, preferably within CNIC, NAVFAC, or ASN (EI&E).

• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Facilities Engineering

  • Shore Installation Management

  • Public Works

  • Infrastructure Planning

  • Asset Management

  • Real Property Management

  • Installation Support

  • Facilities Management

• Strong understanding of Navy installation and facilities operations.

• Ability to analyze complex facility, infrastructure, and installation management requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with government and contractor teams.

• Active Secret security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Navy shore installations or major military installations.

• Experience working directly with CNIC, NAVFAC, or ASN (EI&E).

• Knowledge of Department of the Navy facilities and installation management policies and processes.

• Experience supporting federal government consulting or defense contracting programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.

• PMP, PE, CFM, or other relevant professional certification.

Security Clearance

Active Secret security clearance is required for this position. Candidates must be able to maintain the required security clearance as a condition of employment.
