Job Summary:

Our Barney Monk operations team supplies specialized crew members for a dynamic range of productions, from high-profile entertainment events to large-scale live productions. As the central point of contact, the Barney Monk Operations Manager serves as a vital bridge between corporate staff, field personnel, and client accounts. Operating remotely, this role delivers responsive, top-tier service to drive business unit growth and multi-market operational oversight. The ideal candidate will excel in Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) implementation, job estimation, invoicing, and proactive client management.

General Duties/Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operational strategy across multiple geographic markets to drive scalable growth and maintain consistent service quality
• Lead the integration, compliance, and ongoing administration of Collective Bargaining Agreements
• Oversee the end-to-end financial lifecycle, including job estimation, pricing accuracy, timely client invoicing, and budget management
• Act as the primary operational liaison for key client accounts, nurturing partnerships and resolving high-level service escalations
• Identify operational bottlenecks and establish standardized workflows to improve efficiency, cross-market collaboration, and profit margins
• Manage and mentor local operational teams and field staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous professional development
• Partner with senior leadership, finance, and HR teams to align operational goals with overall company growth strategies
• Ensure all operational work remains on schedule and consistently meets internal operational metrics and client deadlines
• Anticipate potential operational hurdles and promptly communicate emerging issues to the executive management team to drive swift resolution
• Uphold and demonstrate company Core Values and Critical Behaviors across all team operations and client interactions
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of live broadcast sports, entertainment and/or other related live events as well as remote events planning
• General familiarity with union collective bargaining agreements and operating procedures
• Self-starter, able to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail, follow through, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong listening, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create and track production budgets
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of software
• Willingness to help and support other staff and technicians
• Some travel required

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in live event/ production management
• Prior supervisory experience
• Salesforce knowledge

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $110,000, plus benefits as applicable. This position is not eligible for stocks and/or stock options. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
