About the Role

Vantage Insurance Partners is seeking a dynamic and highly driven Market/Producing Leader to spearhead our expansion in key geographic areas. This is a premier "player- coach" executive role designed for an elite insurance professional who thrives on personal production while simultaneously building and leading a high-performing local team. Reporting directly to the Chief Sales O icer, you will serve as the face of Vantage in the market, driving aggressive revenue growth, managing local P&L, and leveraging our SYNC revenue architecture and ELEVATE producer reward and incentive programs to scale operations.

“Lift & Seed” Architecture

At Vantage Insurance Partners, our "Lift and Seed" expansion strategy is explicitly designed to eliminate operational drag so you can focus entirely on driving revenue and coaching your team. We are "seeding" a target market with your localized sales and core account management group, while "lifting" the heavy back-o ice administration, including HR, finance, IT, and carrier appointments—to our dedicated out-of-market hub. This structure empowers you with the agility of an entrepreneurial startup, backed by the robust, centralized support, ensuring you can scale your local P&L rapidly without getting bogged down by the friction of traditional agency administration.

Key Responsibilities

Elite Business Production: Lead from the front by building and maintaining a robust, high- value book of commercial risk or employee benefits business. Serve as a top-tier producer, consistently driving net-new revenue and demonstrating elite sales methodologies for the team to emulate.

 

 

 

Strategic Team Leadership & Growth: Recruit, coach, and scale a local team of Account Managers and Year 1–3 Producers. Guide emerging sales talent through the ELEVATE reward program, providing the mentorship needed to help them advance through the Horizon, Vertex, Zenith, and Apex achievement tiers.

P&L Management & Financial Acumen: Own the financial health of the Tampa/Sarasota o ice. Manage the local contribution margin, optimize controllable expenses, and ensure sustainable profitability. Balance local growth investments against allocated shared service expenses to maximize operational e iciency.

Executive Communication & Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the critical bridge between the local market and our centralized out-of-market services hub. Maintain clear, decisive, and empathetic communication to ensure tight operational alignment, preventing friction and ensuring swift Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for your clients and team.

Market Ambassadorship: Serve as the definitive voice and face of Vantage Insurance Partners in the local community. Cultivate deep relationships with key centers of influence, carrier partners, and business leaders to establish Vantage as the premier brokerage in the region.

Qualifications

 Proven, verifiable track record of elite personal production within the insurance brokerage industry.

 Demonstrated experience in a leadership or sales management capacity, with a history of successfully recruiting, training, and retaining top-tier producers

 Strong financial acumen with experience managing a departmental or regional Profit & Loss statement.

 Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of commanding a room and negotiating complex deals.

 Deep existing relationships and a strong professional network in market.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be measured by a combination of personal production targets, the cumulative revenue growth of the local producer team, local contribution margin (P&L health), and the successful retention and development of market sta .
