What Will You Do as a PRN Physical Therapist?

As a Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat individuals with a variety of mobility and functional needs while developing individualized treatment plans designed to help each person achieve the greatest level of independence possible.

Your role may include:

• Performing comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
• Developing individualized plans of care and functional goals
• Addressing strength, balance, endurance and mobility
• Providing gait and transfer training
• Improving safety and reducing fall risk
• Providing therapeutic exercise and functional activities
• Recommending and training patients in appropriate assistive devices
• Educating patients, families and caregivers
• Collaborating with PTAs and the interdisciplinary care team
• Monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current or eligible Ohio Physical Therapist license
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Patient-centered approach to rehabilitation
• Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
• Dependable availability for agreed-upon PRN coverage
• Skilled nursing or geriatric experience is a plus, but not required
