Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate constrained engineering and production plan, material plan, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory rationalization, to improve service levels. Each day, you will assemble and analyse all data pertinent to creating constrained material and production plan (for Engineered-To-Order businesses), use rough-cut and detailed capacity planning, and link it to the demand plan. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing working capital.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Swiss operations of the business line Medium Voltage Drives within the Division of Motion Service. Main stakeholders are the service operations, local supply chain planning and factory planning, operations network within the business line, local project managers as well sales functions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Drive the operational Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including forecasting and monthly review cycles.

  • Ensure effective capacity and production planning by identifying bottlenecks and implementing short- and long-term improvement measures.

  • Analyze inventory performance and recommend actions to optimize stock levels and supply chain efficiency.

  • Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and the deployment of planning technology solutions to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree from a Technician School in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification.

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in material logistics, supply chain management, production planning, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of material management processes and hands-on experience working with SAP ERP.

  • Experience with ERP systems and S&OP planning tools, combined with a solid understanding of industrial supply chain operations.

  • Strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to balance attention to detail and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
