The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Technical Project Coordinator and play a vital role in connecting customers, project teams, and business operations to ensure successful order execution from start to finish.
In this highly collaborative position, you will manage customer orders throughout their lifecycle, coordinate invoicing activities, support accounts receivable processes, and serve as a trusted point of contact for customers. Working closely with Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Scheduling, Quality, Operations, and Sales teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with customer expectations.

How you'll make an impact
Coordinate customer invoicing activities to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Support accounts receivable processes, collections follow-up, and resolution of billing inquiries.
Monitor customer orders throughout the order lifecycle, ensuring accuracy of pricing, documentation, and contractual requirements.
Serve as a key customer liaison, providing updates on orders, delivery schedules, invoicing, and project status.
Partner with Finance teams on revenue recognition, milestone billing, payment tracking, and dispute resolution.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Scheduling, Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure successful project execution.
Identify and proactively address issues that may impact customer satisfaction, project timelines, or invoicing accuracy.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
Your background
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project coordination, order management, invoicing, accounts receivable, customer service, or related business operations.
Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
Experience working with ERP systems and business processes within a manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
