ou’ll assist with checking purchase prices, verifying supplier deals, and spotting margin deviations so everything runs smoothly. Tricks of the trade
- Sales & Margin Monitoring: Support the team by accurately checking and monitoring purchase prices, quantities, and margins across the assortment to help maintain financial accuracy.
- Deal & Document Administration: Assist in organizing, verifying, and tracking supplier deals, counterpart agreements, and off-invoice discounts so they are correctly reflected in our systems and reporting.
- Commercial Analysis & Reporting: Help gather and prepare financial KPIs and category performance data, supporting the team in spotting weak performance or margin opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Actively think along in financial and commercial projects, diving deep into current workflows to discover more efficient ways of working.
- Compliance & Settlement Support: Provide hands-on support with consumer tax configurations, invoice follow-ups, and gathering documentation for year-end supplier settlements.
Your superpowers
- Education: Currently pursuing the 3rd year of your Bachelor’s or enrolled in a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (with a Finance specialization), or a related quantitative field (HBO/WO).
- Availability: Available to work 2 to 3 days per week for a period of 4-6 months.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a structured approach, keen eye for detail, and high precision ('Pietje Precies') when handling complex data sets.
- Technical & Data Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with data visualization/querying tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, Tableau) or ERP systems is a strong plus.
- Communication & Drive: Proactive, hands-on, and curious mindset. Fluent in English and Dutch with the ability to communicate finance insights clearly to commercial stakeholders.
