Job Overview:
As a Product Manager for Sourcing Engineering in our Product-led organisation, you’ll play a key role in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your ART. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business and empower your teams to deliver value every increment. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution and thrives in a cross-functional, agile setting.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the ART’s product vision, roadmap, and strategy in alignment with portfolio priorities and customer needs.
- Work closely with business owners, customers, and other stakeholders to understand market dynamics and translate them into actionable features for the team.
- Manage and prioritize the ART Program Backlog, ensuring features are clear, well-defined, and ready for implementation by Agile teams.
- Participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning by presenting roadmap, vision, and priorities, and be hands-on during the planning and execution process.
- Guide the teams on feature scope, collaborate on tradeoff decisions, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the ART and regularly engage with users and stakeholders to gather feedback.
- Use metrics and insights to monitor value delivery, measure outcomes, and pivot direction as needed.
- Stay in close contact with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, RTEs (Release Train Engineers) and Solution Architects to ensure smooth execution.
- Champion SAFe principles, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of transparency and collaboration within the ART.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in product management, preferably in an Agile/SAFe environment.
- Experience delivering software or technology products; comfortable working in a technical domain is a big plus.
- Track record of success managing product roadmaps, writing user stories, and collaborating with development teams.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or equivalent experience is preferred.
