Business Services Associate - Patient Helpdesk

37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £25,206.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Circle Business Services is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Business Services Advisor to join their team of staff in the Patient Helpdesk department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Handle inbound calls on our ‘Patient Payments’ and ‘Patient Queries’ phone lines relating to the invoices we raise for treatment
- Provide excellent customer service whilst managing a high level of enquiries
- Liaise with internal and external departments within Circle Health Group to resolve queries concerning patients’ invoice accounts.
- Follow up on queries in a prompt manner either by telephone or email
- Maintain positive working relationships across Business Services and the wider finance function.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, financial regulations, internal audit standards and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline Credit Control processes and enhance efficiency.
- Complete all role-related and mandatory training and support ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle queries professionally and effectively.
- Experience using financial systems and Microsoft Excel at basic to intermediate level.
- Strong technology skills with the ability to enter, report, store and manage data accurately.
- Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good numerical, analytical and literacy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
- Ability to work effectively within established procedures and controls.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
