Overview
Sales Intelligence Associate supports the Sales Planning & Intelligence function by preparing, consolidating, and maintaining sales data and standard performance analyses to enable accurate and timely business reporting. The role focuses on executional data management, analytics support, and insight generation within established frameworks, particularly to support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. Operating under close guidance from senior team members, the role does not own commercial strategy but provides reliable data and analysis that underpin data-driven decision making.

Develop and maintain short- and long-term commercial forecasts across categories and channels.
Conduct pressure test, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate commercial plan.
Produce standard sales planning outputs, including recurring reports and dashboards, using defined templates, tools, and timelines.
Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles by providing timely data preparation, basic variance analysis, and required analytical inputs under established frameworks.
Conduct first-level analysis on sales performance trends to identify key movements, risks, or anomalies for escalation and further interpretation by senior team members.
Maintain data quality and integrity through regular checks, issue identification, and coordination of data corrections with relevant data owners.
Collaborate with senior sales intelligence and strategy roles to align on analytical requirements and continuously improve reporting effectiveness.
Build proficiency in sales analytics tools, systems, and processes through hands-on execution, ensuring compliance with established standards and governance.
Qualifications
Requirements:
2–3 years of relevant experience in sales analytics, sales planning, demand planning, or a related analytical role, including internship or contractual experience.
Hands-on experience in preparing, cleaning, consolidating, and validating large datasets to support routine reporting and performance analysis.
Working knowledge of sales performance metrics (e.g., volume, building blocks, value, mix, customer or channel performance) and their application in business reporting and forecasting.
Experience using data and analytics tools such as Excel, BI dashboards, or similar reporting systems to produce standard analyses and recurring reports.
Basic analytical capability to identify trends, variances, and data inconsistencies, with the ability to summarize observations clearly for senior team members and translate into forecasting.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with a disciplined approach to documentation, version control, and data governance.
Ability to work effectively within structured processes and under close guidance, managing multiple recurring deliverables and deadlines.
Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and respond to data or reporting requests in a clear and timely manner.
