Job Description

The Data Initiatives & Integration Analyst supports the execution of Master Data initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), system implementations, data integration, process improvement, and operational stabilization efforts. This role performs the analysis, data preparation, documentation, reporting, and project support activities necessary to successfully implement new or changing data processes and capabilities.

Working under the direction of the Manager, Data Initiatives & Integration, the Analyst partners cross-functionally with Business stakeholders, IT, Data Governance, Data Stewards, and project teams to support project deliverables, data readiness, issue resolution, and transition to steady-state operations.

This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to work across varied assignments and priorities. The Analyst must be comfortable analyzing and cleansing large data sets, documenting business processes, developing reports, coordinating project activities, and performing the detailed execution necessary to move initiatives from planning through implementation and stabilization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Support Master Data initiatives, including M&A integrations, system implementations, process improvements, data remediation, and operational stabilization activities.
• Execute assigned project activities and deliverables in support of established project plans, milestones, and timelines.
• Support M&A data integration activities, including data collection, mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, standardization, and readiness assessments.
• Analyze large and complex data sets to identify data quality issues, trends, gaps, duplicates, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform data cleansing and remediation activities identified through projects, integrations, data quality reviews, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, trackers, and analyses used to monitor data quality, project progress, operational performance, and stabilization.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, testing, and other data readiness activities associated with system implementations, conversions, and integrations.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business requirements, data flows, procedures, controls, and work instructions.
• Assist with identifying process gaps, root causes, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and scalability.
• Partner with Business stakeholders, IT, Data Governance, and Data Steward teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, resolve issues, and complete project deliverables.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover activities, implementation readiness, and post-go-live stabilization as required.
• Monitor assigned project activities, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items and communicate status to the Manager, Data Initiatives & Integration.
• Assist with the development of training, documentation, and handoff materials required to transition stabilized processes to Data Steward teams or other domain owners.
• Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting, research, and project support based on evolving business and Master Data priorities.
• Maintain organized project documentation and supporting evidence to ensure decisions, requirements, data transformations, and process changes are traceable.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing processes, analyzing performance, and assisting with implementation of sustainable improvements.
• Apply established data standards, governance requirements, and business rules throughout project and integration activities.
• Perform other data analysis, project execution, and operational support activities necessary to successfully deliver Data Management initiatives.

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, business analysis, project support, process improvement, or related field.
• Experience working with large data sets and performing data analysis, validation, cleansing, or reconciliation.
• Experience supporting projects, system implementations, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional business activities.
• Experience developing reports, documentation, process flows, or project tracking materials.
• Experience working with ERP, MDM, or other enterprise business systems preferred.
• Experience supporting M&A integrations, data migrations, or system conversions is preferred.

• Ability to analyze, cleanse, reconcile, and validate large data sets.
• Ability to translate business requirements and project needs into actionable data and process activities.
• Strong process documentation skills, including the ability to document procedures, requirements, workflows, and business rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings, issues, and project status clearly.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of data management concepts, data quality principles, and master data structures.
• Ability to work independently while escalating risks, issues, and decisions appropriately.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Oracle eBusiness or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting and data visualization tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL or other data querying tools.
• Experience with data cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, or migration activities.
• Familiarity with project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing process maps, standard operating procedures, training materials, or business requirements.
• Experience supporting M&A integrations, system implementations, or post-go-live stabilization.
• Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance concepts..

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Travel: Travel may be required based on project or M&A needs.
• Work Schedule: Extended hours or weekends may be required during critical project phases, including system implementations, go-lives, and M&A cutovers.
• Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require sitting for extended periods.
• Legal Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Compensation Range:

$67,300.00 - $101,000.00
