PCBA CAD Library EngineerJob Description
Your role:
Complete PCBA Part Requests following the Philips workflow
Create the symbol, cell, 3D Model and mapping to parts as per standards using the given toolsets (PCBA CAD-E library element creation in Mentor Graphics Xpedition)
Determine whether Part Requests are complete; provide clear communication back to requester in case there are issues or additional information is required
Upload created parts in DMS, Verify and Release
Define and understand easily PCBA CAD-E Library Creation Processes
Perform a verification of the Part Request deliverables
During peak-loads in our team: registration of standard parts in PTC Windchill
You're the right fit if: (4 x bullets max)
BSc degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering / Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics / Mechatronics with 4 to 5 years of experience and currently working on electronic and electro-mechanical component creation and maintenance
Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components
Competence in the area of PCBA CAD-E Library Creation
Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, IPC and JEDEC standards for schematic symbols, PCBA footprints
Expertise with Mentor Graphics Xpedition using Library Manager, DxDesigner, DMS, 3D Model Interface, Cell editor
Competence in creation of 3D Models and experience with Creo is a plus
Experience in component management processes and part data registration in PTC Windchill
Pro-active, can-do attitude, team player
Able to work in a structured manner, with a focus on quality
Fluent in English, verbal and written
Capable of communicating effectively with all technical disciplines

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
