We're opening a brand-new location in Yachats, OR, and we're building our founding team ahead of our September opening. Compensation: $15.55/hour base wage plus participation in our tip pool program. Team Members currently earn an average of approximately $28.00/hour when tip pool earnings are included. Actual earnings may vary based on business levels and hours worked.   

Position Title: Shop Team Member

Summary of the Position: You’ll be a part of a team in a dynamic environment that brings together merchandising, beer knowledge, retail items and interactions with our guests. 

Key Accountabilities: you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Ensure our guests have an open, friendly and memorable experience 
• Deep knowledge of Pelican beer offerings 
• Knowledge of retail items and pricing 
• Maintaining stock of retail items 
• Assisting guests to seated tables
• Keeping the restaurant clean, tables clean, retail area clean
• Helping out fellow team members with all duties in the restuarant
• Able to stay organized with our guest waiting system

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

1 year host, server or bartending experience 

Food handler’s card 

OLCC 

Requirements

Professional and positive attitude 

Knowledge of beer 

Job requires possible nights, weekends, holidays shifts.

Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.

Must be able to lift, handle, and carry food, supply, small wares, equipment, and paper goods at a minimum of 25 pounds. 

Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment. 

Must be able to work in an environment subject to loud noises from restaurant equipment and machinery, fumes, odors, dust, and smoke.
