Our client is building an AI-native accounts receivable automation platform helping B2B distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturers modernize financial operations.
The platform integrates directly with customers' existing ERP systems and automates complex accounts receivable workflows, reducing manual processes and improving operational efficiency.
The company recently raised a $10M Series A and is operating as a lean, high-growth organization with approximately 100 customers and strong customer retention.
As a Founding Solutions Engineer, you'll own end-to-end customer implementations and ERP integrations while serving as the technical bridge between customers and the internal engineering team.
This is an opportunity for an early-career technical professional who wants significant autonomy, customer ownership, and hands-on exposure to complex enterprise integrations while helping build the company's implementation function from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end customer implementations from kickoff through production go-live
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout customer implementations
- Lead ERP integration projects that typically run approximately 60 days from kickoff to launch
- Work directly with customers to understand their technical environments and integration requirements
- Evaluate customer ERP systems and identify integration requirements and potential technical blockers
- Build and maintain integrations between customer ERP systems and the company's platform
- Work with legacy ERP systems such as Infor, Epicor, and similar enterprise platforms
- Work with REST and SOAP APIs to connect customer systems
- Work with SFTP, EDI, flat files, CSV files, and other data exchange mechanisms
- Perform data mapping between customer systems and internal platform schemas
- Use Postman to test APIs, troubleshoot integrations, and validate data flows
- Read and interpret API documentation and independently investigate integration issues
- Diagnose integration problems where API responses may indicate success but the expected business action does not occur
- Triage and resolve customer integration support issues
- Work with webhooks, ETL processes, and data synchronization workflows
- Translate customer technical requirements into clear specifications for the integrations engineering team
- Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams
- Coordinate implementation timelines, technical dependencies, and stakeholder communication
- Identify data integrity and data hygiene issues during customer onboarding
- Work with customers to resolve data quality and mapping discrepancies
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs between different methods for syncing large volumes of customer data
- Build repeatable implementation processes and technical playbooks
- Create documentation for recurring integration workflows and troubleshooting procedures
- Improve the company's implementation methodology as the customer base scales
- Help establish best practices for customer onboarding and technical delivery
- Take ownership of customer issues from investigation through resolution
- Communicate technical risks, blockers, and project status clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with engineering to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Balance customer needs with scalable technical solutions
- Operate with high autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment
- Contribute to improving internal tooling, processes, and implementation infrastructure
- Help build the foundation for a scalable Solutions Engineering organization

Experience Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Implementation, Integration Engineering, Technical Consulting, or similar roles
- Experience owning customer-facing technical implementations from kickoff through go-live
- Experience serving as a primary technical point of contact for customers
- Experience working with enterprise software integrations
- Experience working with ERP systems or legacy enterprise applications
- Experience with APIs, SFTP, data mapping, ETL, or similar integration technologies
- Experience troubleshooting customer-facing technical issues
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination experience

Education
