Compensation:

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our privately owned dental practice in Bowie, MD. With 60-minute hygiene appointments and no assisted hygiene, you'll have the opportunity to practice the way you were trained—focusing on exceptional preventive care, periodontal therapy, patient education, and long-term oral health.
Our practice utilizes Eaglesoft practice management software and prides itself on maintaining a collaborative, supportive culture where every team member is valued and empowered to provide the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care during 60-minute patient appointments.
- Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and preventive hygiene procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal evaluations and oral cancer screenings.
- Take and interpret digital dental radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive treatment recommendations.
- Accurately document patient medical histories, periodontal findings, and treatment using Eaglesoft.
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain OSHA and infection control standards while supporting an efficient clinical workflow.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland.
- Local Anesthesia Permit required to qualify for the maximum compensation of up to $68/hour.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience with Eaglesoft is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Passion for providing comprehensive, relationship-based care.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence.
