Overview:
Supporting Senior Management (both HLB and BCB level) in coordinating coherent and strategic business initiatives to deliver shareholder value. This role will report to Manager of Business Strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
Support Managing Director / Business Heads in producing and coordinating a sound corporate strategic plan, ensuring all business units maintain consistency with the business strategy, goals and objectives;
Conduct, both proactively and on request, analysis of various related key performance data to highlight issues and trends, and to test hypothesis on key drivers and relationships. This includes analyzing the impact of key economic and regulatory developments;
Responsible for producing and maintaining a comprehensive competitor analysis / industry benchmarking with analysis and insights towards achieving business goals;
Responsible for executing and documenting key communication of strategies and transformational initiatives to various stakeholders such as sales, middle office and back office team in a simple and easy-to-understand manner;
Manage the regular preparation of reports and presentations to relevant boards and management committees with commentary that succinctly and effectively communicates business performance against strategies and plans, and highlights key areas of both improved and underperformance;
Respond, as requested, to ad-hoc requests from Group Managing Director, Managing Director, Business & Corporate Banking Management Team, and units within the business.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Finance / Economics / Commerce / Business Administration or its equivalent;
Experience working in consultancy or strategy related roles;
For managerial role, minimum 5 years relevant experience
