POSITION: IT Support Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Operation Manager
FLSA STATUS: FT, Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide basic Tier 1 support for computers, printers, peripherals, applications, passwords, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot network, Internet, wireless, and basic connectivity problems.
- Support and coordinate telephone, VoIP, mobile phone, and telecommunications issues.
- Serve as the onsite point of contact for the MSP, Internet providers, telecom providers, and other technology vendors.
- Provide onsite assistance to the MSP when physical access is required, including moving equipment, connecting cables, power cycling devices, checking connections, and replacing hardware.
- Assist with switches, wireless access points, network cabling, patch panels, network closets, and Internet circuits.
- Support printers, copiers, phones, computers, displays, and other Facility technology.
- Assist with technology needs for Facility events.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and basic network/telecom documentation.
- Escalate server, security, systems administration, and other advanced technical issues to the MSP.
- Perform other onsite technology-related duties as assigned.

- Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with outside IT providers.
- Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and common business applications.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet, VLANs, switches, wireless networks, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network cabling, patch panels, wireless access points, and telecommunications systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Outlook, and Internet connectivity.
- Ability to recognize when an issue should be escalated rather than making unauthorized system changes.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience)
- Two or more years of IT support, networking, telecommunications, help desk, or similar technical experience preferred.
- CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCST/CCNA, or similar networking experience is beneficial but not required.
- Hands-on experience with hardware/software troubleshooting, user account management, and basic network support.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a knack for resolving technical issues quickly
- Clear, professional communication abilities when working with both technical and non-technical users
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize tickets, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
- Familiarity with IT best practices around security, system maintenance, and user support.
