What you'll be doing
Corpay is currently looking to hire Digital Solutions Engineer within the Digital Solutions team. This position falls under our Cross Border line of business and will be located in Paddington, London. As the Digital Solutions Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the onboarding, implementation, and ongoing management of connectivity solutions for PCM clients. The role combines client relationship management, technical solution consulting, and project coordination. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will support clients through the end-to-end integration lifecycle, from pre-sales discussions and requirements gathering through to implementation, testing, go-live, and ongoing support. You will have an interest in treasury, payments, cash management, and banking technology, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions while delivering an excellent client experience. You will report directly to the Head of Digital Solutions and regularly coordinates with onboarding, sales and the wider digital engineering team.

Roles Responsibilities
Your responsibilities of the role will include:
Client Connectivity & Implementation
- Manage and coordinate client onboarding and connectivity implementations across: API, SWIFT, SFTP
- Support clients through the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and production rollout.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor implementation milestones and manage client communications throughout the onboarding process.
- Maintain implementation documentation, agreements, and technical specifications.
Treasury & Payments Expertise
- Develop expertise across treasury, payments, and cash management solutions.
- Support client discussions relating to:
- Domestic payments
- Cross-border payments
- FX payments
- Liquidity management
- Cash visibility and reporting
- Build knowledge of payment schemes and formats including: SEPA, SWIFT MT and ISO 20022, ACH, BACS, Faster Payments, CHAPS, EBICS, International Wire Payments
- Develop understanding of payment file formats and treasury integration processes.
- Stay abreast of upcoming industry changes and the reason for such changes an example being the upcoming swift migration to ISO formats
Sales Support & Solution Consulting
- Partner with Sales teams to support new business opportunities and client engagements.
- Participate in discovery sessions to understand client treasury and connectivity requirements.
- Assist with responses to RFPs, RFIs, due diligence requests, and technical questionnaires.
- Help prepare client presentations, solution proposals, and implementation approaches.
- Support demonstrations and discussions around connectivity solutions and treasury workflows.
Requirements & Product Collaboration
- Gather and document business and technical requirements from clients.
- Translate client requirements into functional requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain a clear understanding of client feedback, enhancement requests, and market needs.
- Coordinate with Product Management teams to ensure client requirements are accurately represented in future product development.
- Support testing and validation of new features and enhancements.
Relationship Management
- Be the trusted point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with treasury, finance, operations, and technology stakeholders.
- Support ongoing client engagement following implementation.
- Drive high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client support and issue resolution.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Support the development and maintenance of implementation processes and procedures.
- Ensure connectivity and onboarding activities meet internal governance and compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
- Help maintain knowledge articles, implementation guides, and internal documentation.
Required skills and experience
Treasury & Payments Knowledge
- Foundational understanding of treasury, cash management, payments, or transaction banking.
- Knowledge of payment types and schemes including: SEPA, ACH, SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, Cross-border payments FX and FWDs
- Understanding of treasury workflows and cash management processes is advantageous.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of banking connectivity channels, including:
- APIs
- SWIFT
- SFTP
- Awareness of ERP, Treasury Management Systems, and financial technology integrations.
- Familiarity with ISO 20022 payment standards is desirable.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them to non-technical audiences.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.

Qualifications
Required
- 3-7 years of experience in treasury, payments, banking, fintech, implementation, consulting, or a related technology role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in treasury, digital banking, financial technology, or payments.
Preferred
- Experience supporting API, SWIFT, SFTP, or treasury integration projects.
- Exposure to Treasury Management Systems or ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards.
- Experience working with connectivity, treasury solutions or transaction banking products.
