Responsible for supporting the brokerage process by analyzing client needs, preparing market submissions, and facilitating placement of insurance products. Works under moderate supervision with increasing autonomy to manage assigned accounts and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for successful delivery of solutions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and delivering insurance proposals to clients.
• Gather and analyze underwriting data for submission to markets.
• Coordinate with carriers to obtain quotes and evaluate terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements during the placement process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and communications in designated systems.
• Support senior brokers in renewals and remarketing as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in insurance brokerage, underwriting, or related position.
• Experience handling mid-sized or moderately complex accounts.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
• State-specific insurance broker or producer license as required.
• Industry designations (CPCU, ARM) preferred but not required.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and market practices.
• Ability to interpret policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.
• Proficiency in data analysis and use of brokerage management systems.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and execute tasks with limited supervision.
