Job Description Summary

The Senior Site Purchasing Manager lead a team responsible for execution of the purchasing supply plan for the Greenville factory within the Materials Management Organization. external supplier capacity and fulfillment of purchasing agreements. As a purchasing leader, you will lead strategic capacity validations of key suppliers and overall execution of supplier executions with a strong focus on achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to lead the overall purchasing strategy and KPI performance of the Greenville site purchasing team.

Job Description

  • Ensure execution of purchasing plan that utilizes the available capacity of our supply partners while aligning to safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets of the business.
  • Lead the procurement team responsible for the balance of turbine components for the Greenville site gas turbine build plan as well as all subcontracting vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify capacity gaps in the supply plan and develop and lead projects that provide solutions.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers for capacity utilization, including managing volume changes.
  • Lead supplier capacity validations for casings value stream
  • Manage supplier prioritization across COE’s
  • Keep ERP systems and tools up to date and accurate to the current state of supply capacity.
  • Develop and establish KPI’s for all direct material purchasing for the Greenville site
  • Support and drive initiatives, including lead time reduction, New Product Introduction (NPI), payment terms and cash flow improvements.
  • Act as the primary source of contact for supply capacity and continuous improvement plans for the Greenville factory

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience/knowledge
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing / supply chain
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience specifically in material planning / scheduling function

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $122,600.00 and $204,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
