GSF Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team in Fresno, CA. If you're a seasoned maintenance professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will serve as a key resource for the maintenance team, performing advanced repairs, diagnosing complex maintenance issues, and helping ensure our apartment community is maintained to the highest standards. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a positive impact on residents' homes and communities.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: 23.00-25.00 per hour, plus benefits (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Participation in an on-call rotation as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced maintenance and repair work in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex maintenance issues independently.
• Complete service requests and work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee apartment turns and ensure units meet company quality standards.
• Assist with property inspections and identify necessary repairs and preventative maintenance needs.
• Support and mentor less experienced maintenance team members.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and overall curb appeal.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and team members. Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Requirements

Job Requirements - Maintenance Technician III

• Minimum 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Strong experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues independently.
• Experience completing apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and resident service requests.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
• Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm=40 hours per week
