Job Description Summary

Baer Manufacturing is seeking detail-oriented and experienced Assemblers to join the growing team. Assemblers work alongside Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices assembling electrical products to specifications in a manufacturing facility in Hudson WI. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of hand and power tools, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Job Description:

Local Union 520 Position

·         Read and interpret blueprints while receiving work directions and coaching from area Foreman.

·         Gather and layout materials necessary for the assembly.

·         Build conduit assemblies to prints while achieving on time customer delivery demand

·         Wire VFD’s, motor starters, lighting and control panels.

·         Complete panelboards, overhead racks, and threaded rod assemblies.

·         Verify accuracy of work through quality control procedures.

·         Maintain a safe and clean work environment focusing on 5s and Lean manufacturing principles.

·         Notify supervisor of low inventory or faulty equipment in need of repair.

·         Cut, strip, crimp, and route wires to connect electrical units.

·         Install, mount, and secure electrical parts

Union Assembler Pay Scale: $16.85 to $32.56 Based on experience

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
