Description

The Team Leader Site Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of Modernization and Upgrades (MU) installation projects across multiple sites. This role oversees the disciplinary and functional management of MU Site Managers of the region, ensuring consistent performance, adherence to standards, and continuous team development.

Should this role be filled in Italy the base pay range for this role is estimated to be 54.000 € - 79.200 € at the time of posting. Compensation will be aligned with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement, namely the CBA "Metalmeccanico Industria".

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills

Tasks and Qualifications:

Responsabilities:

  • Power of attorney for safe execution of the projects in his/her area of competency
  • Disciplinary & professional management of the team MU Site Managers
  • Ensuring / continuous improvement of quality in assembly
  • Ensuring know-how transfer between the various construction sites
  • Documentation of assembly problems & ensuring that information is fed back to our quality department or product management
  • Cross-project escalation management as well as personnel deployment planning & capacity planning
  • Cross-project assurance of project execution in terms of quality, deadlines and costs
  • Cross-project reporting on the current status of work in the project
  • Continuous improvement processes & with the adjacent departments
  • Main contact person for the adjacent departments for cross-project topics
  • Continuous training of the team & ensuring compliance with our standards
  • Sales support to validate the estimations for upcoming projects
  • Financial forecast related the internal resources and external services. Be the owner of project WBS for installation tasks
  • Take under control the cost of the projects with constant interaction with site manager and PM
  • Accountable to ensure that the project is permanently supported by the required site management and/or supervision
  • Work with procurement and support the definition of sub-contractors and release of the POs and GR to cover their activities

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar position at a managerial level and in the assembly of machines and systems.
  • Must be used to working with subcontractors.
  • Must have the ability to manage an on-site team.
  • Educated to City & Guilds standard in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • Availability to work during weekends and nights, when required by the project.
  • MEWP Certificate (desirable).
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable).
  • Forklift Truck Licence (desirable).
  • Native language of the country is mandatory.
  • English language skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory (B2 level minimum).
  • Knowledge of an additional third language is also required, such as Spanish, French, or Italian.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
