Description
Perform process development activities, including process parameter scouting, optimization, verification, and process freeze, to achieve project targets in timeline, quality, cost competitiveness, and manufacturability. Lead technical handover and knowledge transfer activities to Operations. Support prototype and development sample builds. Develop and maintain relevant documentation, including Process Specifications, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32 (P), and PDR. Provide input for and ensure the accuracy of development-related documents, including Process of Record, Assembly Design Rules, Process Roadmaps, Failure Catalogues, Control Plans, and Maintenance Checklists. Liaise with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives and support verification and qualification of new tooling, equipment, and materials. Participate in task forces and problem-solving teams, applying statistical and analytical tools such as SPC, APC, DOE, 8D, FMEA, and DFMEA. Identify and develop new process technologies and enhance process capability to meet business requirements. Support the definition and selection of process technologies, materials, equipment, and tooling. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and project team members. Initiate and generate intellectual property ideas through research and technical studies. Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Hands-on knowledge and skills in assembly processes with relevant industry expertise. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Good collaboration, negotiation, and solution-finding skills. Knowledge of analytical equipment and characterization techniques. Proficiency in statistical data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and presentation skills.
