Role Purpose The Deliveries and Operations Leader (DOL) acts as the operational backbone of the A&SE CIx & DDS organization, serving as a servant-leader who shields product teams from administrative bureaucracy and operational overhead. Partnering with group RTEs and Leadership, the DOL ensures strategic traceability by maintaining a clear link between portfolio goals and team execution. The role is dedicated to driving operational excellence, harmonizing reporting, and providing "decision-ready" visibility to executive stakeholders to ensure the organization remains focused on delivering value.

The Opportunity

  • Strategic Alignment & Traceability: Ensure a continuous link between organization OKRs and product delivery, providing the strategic context necessary for teams to make autonomous, high-quality decisions.

  • Operational Excellence & Governance: Lead the operations of services and products to achieve fit-for-purpose service levels in productivity, quality, and cost, while driving the adoption of standardized operating models.

  • Executive Visibility & Reporting: Act as the single source of truth for tracking investments, capacity, and risks, absorbing ad-hoc reporting requests to protect delivery teams from distraction.

  • Risk & Dependency Mitigation: Identify and resolve structural bottlenecks and cross-team impediments, coordinating critical integration points across different product lifecycles.

  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring vendors adhere to stated Service Level Agreements and Statements of Work.

Who You Are:

Here’s what we’re looking for: We are looking for an experienced, motivated RTE/PL/Software Delivery Lead who thrives in guiding and coaching the Clinical Insights and DDS engineering teams (~300 people). Someone who is passionate about constantly finding ways to improve their ability to deliver value to our end users. And committed to developing software products with the highest levels of quality that would satisfy not only industry standards but as well the expectations of patients and customers.

Essentials skills for your mission:

  • Proven experience as a software team lead or manager, preferably in the medical device or diagnostics industry.

  • Software Operational excellence - continuous improvement champion with a lean thinking mindset on process optimization and efficiency improvement.

  • Understanding of medical, security, and privacy regulations.

  • Trill Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in large, international, and complex development projects.

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years on the job experience in Software building and delivery related roles (ideally following SAFe framework).

You will be part of a team of experienced LT working on the different products in our portfolio, gaining a rich understanding of the specific requirements of medical software, be it security, medical risk management, safe and resilient programming, or certifications and audits.

Locations You will be based in Warsaw, Poland / Sant Cugat, Spain. As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.

  • Salary range For Poland  337,400.00 – 626,600.00 PLN gross annual based on the employment contract.
