Job Summary:
To expand our EMC team in Plattling we are looking for a
Test engineer (m/f/d) / test technician (m/f/d) in the field of Electromagnetic Compatibility
These are your tasks:
- Preparation of test plans and quotations for EMC tests
- Performing tests on ITE-, ISM-, household appliances and medical devices in the laboratory and on-site at the customer’s premises with specialized testing equipment
- Evaluation of EMC characteristics of devices under test
- Error analysis in case of non-fulfilment of normative requirements or customer specifications
- Solving customer-specific EMC problems
- Documentation of test results
- Maintenance and further development of measurement capabilities
What we expect:
- Completed studies; alternatively, completed apprenticeship as electrician (m/f/d) with further training as state certified technician (m/f/d) in Electrical Engineering, Communications and Information Technology, Power Engineering, Automation Technology or comparable with solid foundation in electrical engineering
- Fundamental knowledge of measurement technology (EMC test methods and circuit technology)
- Knowledge of analogue and digital circuitry
- Knowledge of the relevant directives and standards
- Good command of German and English (written and spoken)
- Independent, systematic and responsible method of working
- Team player and strong communication skills
