Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health, which is distinguished throughout the Southeastern United States for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. CMC serves as the region’s only Level 1 Trauma center, is Magnet-designated, and also an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. We also serve as one of North Carolina’s five Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serve as a satellite for the medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill.

CMC's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Manager to oversee technical operations across three to four Electrophysiology Procedure Rooms. This eight-room invasive cardiology procedural area includes two hybrid labs and is one of Charlotte’s largest and highest-acuity invasive cardiology programs. The team operates three electrophysiology labs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and four on Wednesday, serving adult patients exclusively. Procedures include electrophysiology studies; catheter ablations using pulsed field, radiofrequency, and cryoablation technologies; concomitant Watchman procedures for atrial fibrillation; cardioversions; loop recorder implants; device and laser lead extractions; and implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, biventricular devices, and leadless systems such as Micra and Aveir. In 2026, the program introduced a seven-day electrophysiology care model, including weekend services, to expand patient access. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of high-acuity EP lab experience and a minimum of one year of leadership experience.
