Assistant Vice President, Securities Settlement Senior Analyst

Join Citi's Global Markets Operations team as a Securities Settlement Senior Analyst, where you will play a key role in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Operating within a high-volume, back-office environment, you will bring analytical depth and operational precision to one of the most critical functions within capital markets infrastructure. This is an onsite, individual contributor role with meaningful responsibility for operational delivery, process improvement, and junior staff oversight.

## Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end settlement of securities and derivatives transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution across all assigned processing areas.
• Resolve complex securities processing issues by evaluating standard procedures and applying in-depth knowledge of industry practices and operational controls.
• Deliver hedge fund operational tasks including net asset value calculation, cash and holdings reconciliation, and securities pricing.
• Coordinate the onboarding and set-up of new hedge funds, acting as the procedural and analytical expert throughout the process.
• Prepare expense budgets, analyze expense calculations, and produce unaudited financial statements in line with fund reporting requirements.
• Determine fund valuations and allocate investor values with accuracy and appropriate controls.
• Support the development and streamlining of securities processing workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to junior team members while contributing to project workstreams alongside standard settlement operations.

## Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience in securities processing, settlement operations, or a related financial services function.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, across operational and stakeholder environments.
• Practical experience with hedge fund operations, including net asset value calculation, holdings reconciliation, and fund accounting.
• Solid understanding of securities clearance and settlement workflows, with the ability to identify and resolve processing exceptions independently.
• Ability to work on a rotational shift schedule, including extended hours as required by operational demand.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
