Location: Riggs Fabrication Facility Reports To: Fabrication Manager Position Summary: The Pipe Fitter is responsible for the shop layout, fabrication and fit-up of carbon steel pipe spools used in industrial and construction projects. Essential Responsibilities: • Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and piping specifications. • Lay out, measure, cut, bevel, and fit pipe for welding and fabrication. • Assemble piping systems and components according to project specifications and tolerances. • Verify dimensions, alignments, and fit-up quality prior to welding. • Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and beveling machines safely. • Assist with rigging, material handling, and movement of pipe and fabricated assemblies. • Inspect materials and completed assemblies. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· 3+ years of industrial pipe fitting experience preferred.

· Strong ability to read and interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

· Experience working with carbon steel piping required.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment. Benefits:
