POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate operation of a Forklift to transport materials from the warehouse to the production operations area.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Move materials from Warehouse to operations area
- Move finished product to staging area in warehouse.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Experience with picking orders
- Previous Forklift Experience Required
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Stand-up Lift a plus
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION*
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Excellent peripheral and close-range vision abilities required, including close-range
