Senior Manager, Program Management

Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Program Management, leads strategic initiatives within the People Team supporting Global Walmart Connect and Sam’s Club Connect. This team drives operational excellence by delivering scalable people strategies, organizational planning, and impactful program execution. Collaborating cross-functionally, the team focuses on innovation, process improvement, and effective communication to meet evolving business needs. With a commitment to high standards and continuous learning, the team supports business success through informed decision-making and strong partnership with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of accountability and performance.  

About the team: The People team for Walmart Connect seeks a Senior Manager to lead people enablement across the Global Advertising and Sam's Club Connect business,  through strategic planning and program execution. The role combines HR partnership, technology adoption, analytics, and change leadership. 

What you'll do...

• Drive execution of multiple business plans by identifying needs, developing priorities, and removing obstacles to enhance performance.·      
• Lead and develop associates through mentoring, coaching, and performance management to build a high-performing team.·      
• Partner with senior leaders to define goals, assess risks, and communicate program requirements to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Oversee program management process improvements by conducting analyses, developing solutions, and ensuring alignment with company strategy.
• Foster collaboration across teams to increase service capabilities and implement process enhancements.
• The Sr Manager will oversee, workforce planning, and cyclical programs including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, engagement, and the Annual Operating Plan.

• Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders, senior leaders, and executive sponsors with clarity and influence.
• Experience in process improvement, gap analysis, and implementation of best practices aligned with organizational strategy.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.
3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
