Summary: 

A Test Engineer I - Software develops test systems and software to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. They are a team-oriented individual who can also work independently, has a deep understanding of C#, C++, and C programming, and possesses extensive knowledge of various communication protocols and technologies. 

Requirements

• Develop and maintain test systems and test software to verify the functionality and performance of our products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective test plans and strategies.
• Utilize C#, C++, and C programming languages to create efficient and reliable test software.
• Employ GPIB communications, Ethernet protocols, and various standard technologies in Discrete, TTL, and serial communications (including rs232, rs422, rs485) for testing purposes.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging to identify and resolve any issues in the testing process.
• Provide documentation and reports on test results, including recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the testing process.

Qualifications and Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, and C programming languages with experience in Visual Studio.
• Strong knowledge of GPIB communications, Ethernet protocols, and standard technologies in Discrete, TTL, and serial communications (e.g., rs232, rs422, rs485).
• Familiarity with mil-std communications, including 1553, ARINC 429, and synchro/resolver (experience is a plus).
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring the highest product quality.
• Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status.
