You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.
How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

Responsibilities & Outcomes:
Ability to meet deadlines and complete planned and unplanned maintenance tasks safely and effectively.
Provide constant feedback and input on the bakery automation maintenance strategy.
Provides feedback and direction on bakery training programs.
Ability to serve as the key technical automation expert for the facility as needed.
A strong attitude of customer service towards production, quality, and all other internal customers.
Considerable knowledge of food manufacturing processes and accompanying automation protocol.
Knowledge of and ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and other maintenance troubleshooting guides.
Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with time, people, and equipment restraints in a professional manner.
Be flexible and available to interact and connect with people at all levels in the organization.
Be self-directed and motivated.
Demonstrate proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Prior experience working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Conveyor Systems, and Servo Motors.
Strong PLC wiring experience, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Proven PLC troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Experience with pumps and pumping systems.
Ability to troubleshoot industrial automation equipment and identify areas for improvement.
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on industrial automation equipment, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Conveyor Systems, and Servo Motors.
Utilize your expertise in PLC wiring, troubleshooting, and programming to diagnose and resolve issues with automation equipment.
Conduct electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting to identify and address any equipment malfunctions.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize the performance and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while working on equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of automation maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
Weekend work or overtime may be required as business needs arise.

Knowledge of and strict adherence to safety & lock-out / tag-out programs.
Ability to address problem-solving in a team setting.

Salary and Benefits:
The hourly wage for this position is $46.73/hr. In addition, this position offers an annual incentive program of a target of 5% of your salary.
