Clinical Research Coordinator

Are you experienced in a clinical or patient-facing setting and looking for an opportunity to take the next step in your healthcare career? Logan Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our research team in Kalispell.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, is confident with phlebotomy, and is interested in helping patients access new and emerging treatment options through clinical research. You don't necessarily need to come to us with every research certification already in place. We're looking for someone with a strong clinical foundation, excellent patient-care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to grow into the specialized research components of the position.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with patients who may qualify for clinical research studies and help guide them through the research process

• Screen and recruit potential study participants based on established clinical trial criteria

• Educate patients and families about clinical studies, treatment alternatives, study requirements, and potential risks and benefits

• Perform phlebotomy and blood collection as required for clinical research studies

• Coordinate patient visits, testing, laboratory work, and other study-related activities

• Build relationships with patients and serve as a consistent point of contact throughout their participation in a study

• Collaborate with physicians, investigators, clinical staff, sponsors, and other members of the research team

• Collect, document, and maintain accurate clinical research data

• Help ensure studies are conducted according to established protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards

• Coordinate multiple research studies while maintaining accurate and timely documentation

What You'll Bring

Required:

• Associate's degree in a related field

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, providers, and other healthcare professionals

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail

• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn research-specific systems and software

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Two years of equivalent research experience

• Previous experience in a clinical, medical, or patient-facing environment

• Strong phlebotomy skills and experience performing blood draws

• Previous experience working directly with patients

• Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical documentation, or healthcare workflows

Certifications & Training

Don't have all of the research-specific certifications yet? That's okay. Some requirements can be completed after you join the team.

• Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Subject Research (HSR) training is preferred at hire and must be successfully completed within 30 days of hire

• Clinical Research certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), such as CCRC or CCRA, must be successfully obtained within three years of hire

• Required certifications and training must be maintained throughout employment as applicable

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
