The Company:
Founded in Austin in 1989, EZCORP has grown into a leading provider of pawn loans in the United States, Mexico and Latin America. We are dedicated to satisfying the short-term cash needs of consumers who are both cash and credit constrained and providing an industry-leading customer experience.
What’s in it for you:

Address:
GuatemalaThe Earning Assets Specialist’s primary role is to support the analysis, validation, reporting and maintenance of all revenue generating functions. This role will report and drill into market/store/merchandise results and will identify & recommend business opportunities. Additionally, it is expected that the EAS will clearly communicate analysis from standard and ad-hoc reports/dashboards to the senior team members and relevant business units. The team works in an AI-assisted environment - EZCORP’s governed AI platform, is used daily alongside Power BI and SQL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes and monitors key performance indicator (“KPI”) values and supports strategic and ad-hoc business analysis across multiple business units.
- Works directly with business SME’s to understand their present and future business opportunities, with the objective to drive and support revenue growth through loan portfolio management, inventory management, and sales strategies.
- Manages ad-hoc requests from the business functions and supports special projects across all products, geographies, and business units.
- Analyzes data to spot anomalies, trends, and correlations; supports test and control strategies and the monitoring, testing, and implementation of strategies, processes, and reports.
- Pulls and validates data from Power BI semantic models - and checking every figure independently - to build and maintain recurring reporting packages such as category performance scorecards and competitive gold studies.
- Partners with the BI team to build any remaining manual reports into automated, governed reporting rather than maintaining them by hand.
- Applies AI support to structured problem solving and communication, and resolves accordingly to the defined priorities.
- Identifies and proposes enhancements of internal process improvements.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Must have thorough formal education or work experience: quantitative and qualitative data analysis; report development; SQL; Power BI
- Education bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
- Bilingual English - Spanish
- Hands-on experience using an enterprise AI assistant (Claude, Copilot, or similar) for data analysis, query writing, or document and deck preparation is strongly preferred, but not required. Training on our AI workflows is provided; judgment and curiosity matter more than prior tool experience.
- Demonstrated critical thinking: comfortable with open-ended problems, asks the second and third question rather than stopping at the first answer, and reasons through gaps in the data.
