Position Overview
ContingentReporting to the VP, Development Operations, the Development Operations Analyst - Contractor is an integral member of the City Year fundraising and engagement process. The Development Operations Analyst – Contractor is responsible for Salesforce data integrity, building reports and dashboards in Salesforce, building reports and analysis in Excel, and other duties as needed to meet the needs of the City Year Development Teams. The Analyst plays an impactful role in supporting productivity and success of engagement and fundraising efforts. This is a contract role.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce and Excel
- Authorized documentation to work in the United States of America
Responsibilities
The Development Operations Analyst - Contractor will perform the following roles and responsibilities as described below:
Maintaining System & Data Integrity
- Serves as a Salesforce subject matter expert.
- Assists with adding new records and managing manual merging process of duplicate records.
- Protect constituent confidentiality and follow departmental information policies.
Analysis and Presentation of Data
- Assists with weekly and quarterly reporting as needed
- Assists with the annual buildout and quarterly updates of Salesforce reports and dashboards as needed
- Prepare concise Salesforce reports and maintain as necessary with new data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Collaboration
- Participating in staff meetings and contribute to team success
Preferred Qualifications
- City Year/AmeriCorps experience is a plus
- Previous fundraising background
- Skilled in coaching/training and onboarding others

Technical & Functional Skills
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Salesforce, project management, fundraising administration.
Physical requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand or walk
- Manual dexterity for typing, writing, and handling office equipment
- Visual acuity to read screens and printed materials
- Hearing ability to participate in conversations and respond to phone calls
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing
Working Conditions
- Operates in a home office environment using standard office equipment.
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., or as agreed upon per the written statement of work
- Must have reliable internet access for remote work.
