Overview
Are you a Food Service Associate looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers?
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites. The schedule for this position is some weekday evenings 3:45pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am-2:30pm or 3:45pm-7:30pm, including holidays, for a total of approximately 16 hours/week. Flexibility to work either of those two shifts is required. The duties of this position require candidates be at least 18 years old.
This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Job Duties & Skills Required
What You Will Do
The primary responsibilities of this job include working independently as a lead within the dining room services during daytime shifts. Prepares tables for meals, refilling containers, clearing dishes, handling food safely, attending to residents’ needs, taking phone orders, and ensuring other servers are completing tasks in a timely and appropriate manner. Facilitates a pleasant dining experience for the residents and guests who dine at the community.
Skills & Requirements
Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a health care setting preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or olderFor cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
