As a Security Officer Front Desk Reception in Mattoon, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for patients, visitors, and staff. You will manage access, provide directions, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at a healthcare facility front desk by greeting visitors, patients, staff, and vendors while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials and/or appointments in accordance with site-specific policies, and direct individuals to appropriate destinations.
• Carry out security-related procedures, including visitor registration, badge issuance, key control, and documentation of daily activities and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual behavior, access concerns, or policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
